Joseph Lowry White, 85, Fayetteville, died Sept. 20, 2007. He had served in the United States Navy in World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He was a plumber and had belonged to Local #72 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union since 1946. He was member of the Fayette Presbyterian Church. Graveside Services were at the Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta, with the Rev. Cliff Maddox officiating. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Hettie White; sons, Joseph White Jr., Gastonia, N. C., and Ted Moon White, Douglasville; daughters, Dianne and Calvin Hudson, Fayetteville, and Susan White Dean Hampton; grandsons, John Judson, Jay and DeJuan Hudson, Alan and Alex Dean; and a brother, Robert and Kitty White, Fayetteville. Memorial donations may be made to the Fayette Presbyterian Church, 791 Forest Ave., Fayetteville, GA 30214. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. login to post comments |
