Have you been thinking of becoming an entrepreneur and want to learn what it takes to start your own business? Are you already a small business owner, looking to grow your business and find resources to help you expand? Then come and “Find It in Fayette” at the Entrepreneur Extravaganza--an innovative new addition this year to the Fayette County Chamber’s annual Business Expo. Both the Extravaganza and the Expo are free and open to the community.

Scheduled to run on Tuesday, September 25 from 3 to 7 p.m. at New Hope Church in Fayetteville, the Entrepreneur Extravaganza will help visitors to the event learn more about writing business plans, how to find financing; local training opportunities; hiring and personnel resources; business license information; import/export assistance; workforce development and continuing education opportunities; assistance for women and minority small business owners and much more.

Knowledgeable representatives from the following organizations will have information and be available to answer questions: the Women’s Economic Development Agency; Georgia Minority Business Enterprise Center; Small Business Administration; Peachtree City and Fayetteville Business License offices; Small Business Development Center; Atlanta Regional Commission; Clayton State University; Georgia Department of Economic Development, Georgia Department of Revenue; Georgia Department of Labor and Griffin Technical College.

The Entrepreneur Extravaganza is being sponsored by the Fayette County Development Authority in partnership with the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia Department of Labor, and it is part of local efforts to achieve the state’s “Entrepreneur Friendly Community” designation for Fayette County.
