Elizabeth Anne Scheps and Joshua Stuart Gleason were married Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, at Coindre Hall in Huntington, Long Island, N.Y. Andrew Scheps, brother of the bride, who was ordained specially for this occasion, conducted the wedding.

The bride is the daughter of Walter and Esther Scheps of East Setauket, Long Island, N.Y. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University in both history and linguistics and her master’s in American civilization and museum studies from Brown University. She is a teacher at the Hopkins School in New Haven, Conn.

The groom is the son of Stephen and Mary Gleason of Peachtree City. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University where he earned a degree in both Spanish and psychology. He also is a teacher at the Hopkins School and is a partner at JWS Educational Technology Consulting.

Debleena Sengupta was themaid of honor and Derek Gleason, the groom’s brother, served as best man.

Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at Coindre Hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Gleason now reside in Hamden, Conn.
