Catherine Lynn Rower and 1st Lt. Bryce Jacob Remkes were married Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Chapel 1 on Randolph Air Force Base near San Antonio, Texas. The ceremony was conducted by Lt. Col. John Baker, chaplain.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rower of Peachtree City and the groom is the son of Maj. Gen. and Mrs. Robertus “Dutch” Remkes of Stuttgart, Germany.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and was attended by her maid of honor, Caitlin Jones of Alexandria, Va. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Shelina Dozier, sister of the groom, of Guadalupe, Calif., Stephanie Schkabla of Atlanta, Mrs. Stephanie Aslam of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Katie Francisco of Richmond, Va. Emma Dozier, the groom’s niece, of Guadalupe, Calif., served as flower girl.

The groom’s best man was 1st Lt. Mike Butler of Moore, Okla. Groomsmen were 1st. Lt. Brent Droze of McChord Air Force Base, Wash., 1st Lt. Ryan Roberts of McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., Joshua Rower, the bride’s brother, of Peachtree City; and 1st Lt. Scott Haslup of Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. Raymond Naylor V of Avondale, Ariz. was the ring bearer.

Saber bearers for the wedding were 1st Lt. Seth Pelletier of Travis Air Force Base, Calif.; 2nd Lt. Kamran Aslam of Redondo Beach, Calif.; 1st Lt. Paul Baker of Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas;1st Lt. Chafin Hale of Laughlin AFB, Texas; 1st Lt. C.J. Mendes of Langley Air Force Base, Va.; and 1st Lt. Chuck McLeran of Luke Air Force Base, Ariz.

Following the ceremony, a reception and dance were held at the Randolph Air Force Base Officer’s Club.

Lt. and Mrs. Remkes now reside at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas.
