The committee appointed to oversee Fayette's new elementary school boundaries got a first glimpse Thursday night of a draft of a new attendance zone map.
Both assistant superintendent Sam Sweat and assistant superintendent C. W. Campbell told the committee members the map was built around the committee's recommended neighborhood planning unit groupings, and would undergo several changes before it was presented to the board in November.
Next week, the committee will hear from government planners about the planned growth for the county.
