Michael "Mike" E. Dunn, 73, Fayetteville, died Sept. 6, 2007. He was born July 27, 1934, son of Charles Winston and Marie Ann Townley Dunn. He was graduated from Russell High School, East Point, and helped organize Russell High reunion and luncheons. He had served in the United States Coast Guard. He worked in the paint industry and later for Tri-City Realty and Prudential Realty. He was a member of the Ben Hill Masonic Lodge, and the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. He loved coaching girls church league softball and they won several first place trophies. He loved people and tried to put a smile on their faces. Services were at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Westmoreland and the Rev. Bob Partridge officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Pat Dunn, Fayetteville; children, Mark Dunn, Newnan, Lisa and Norman Smith, Mableton, and Kim and Mike Lashley, Stockbridge; grandchildren, Benjamin, Tyler, Alicia and Olivia Smith; great-granddaughters, Bonnie and Lilly; and a brother, Ronald and Iris Dunn, Ocala, Fla. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
