Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Stone of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kara Elizabeth Stone, to Christopher Roche, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Roche of Cumming.

The bride-to-be is a Fayette County High School graduate and a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned a degree in fashion merchandising and design. She currently is self-employed.

The groom-elect is a North Forsyth County High School graduate and a 2002 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in management of information systems, a B.A. in management consulting, and a B.A. in international business. He currently is employed with GE as an IT program manager.

The wedding will be held Oct. 13, 2007, at Southern Oak, home of the bride’s parents.
