Mr. and Mrs. John Warren of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashlie Warren, to Brian McCartney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen McCartney, also of Fayetteville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ms. Audrey Moore and the late William Moore of Jensen Beach, Fla. and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Warren of Beaver Dam, Ky. She a 1997 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2001 cum laude graduate of Georgia State University where she received a bachelor of business administration in management. She currently is employed at Towers Perrin, Atlanta as an associate within the executive compensation and rewards consulting group.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Ms. Martha Ponder of Fayetteville and the late William McCartney, and Ms. Marion Clement of Sun City, Fla. and the late Thomas Jay Simmons. He is a 1996 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2001 graduate of Georgia State University where he received a bachelor of business administration in marketing. He is employed by John Wieland Homes as a signature quality manager.

The wedding and reception will be held in April, 2008, at the Georgian Terrace Hotel in Atlanta.
