The Peachtree City Parks and Recreation Department will offer dance lessons beginning Sept. 15. The first class, which will be from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., will offer East Coast Swing.

The class will cover two styles of swing dancing, fast and slow. The class requires no prior dance experience, however, the class will be good for former students to review and learn additional steps.

Because only one dance will be taught, students can concentrate on a higher skill level. From 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., the advanced class will cover swing steps at the gold level. Students have to be approved for this class by the instructors, due to the skill level of the class.
