Minnie V. Baker, 95, LaGrange, formerly of Hapeville and Peachtree City, died Aug. 16, 2007. She was born July 5, 1912 in Coffee County, Tenn. She had a gift of hospitality and loved to entertain people, often the graduating members of Delta Air Line Flight Attendant classes. A celebration of life service was at Grace Evangelical Church with the Rev. Bruce Heel officiating. Private graveside services were held at Westview Cemetery Survivors include children, Van and Nancy Baker, Barnesville, and the Rev Father Ron and Nancy Clemmer, Hogansville; grandchildren, Ashley Baker, Heflin, Ala., Michael and Amy von Borstel, Woodstock, and Jeff and Karen Harper, Gautier, Miss.; and six great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Fellowship of Christian Airline Personnel, 136 Providence Road, Fayetteville, GA 30215. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
