Stephen Oscar Moore, 86, Fayetteville, died Aug. 22, 2007. He was born Jan. 24, 1921 in Comanche County, Kansas. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and served in World War II. He worked for Day Ford Company, retiring as general manager in 1986. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel with the Rev. David Hughes officiating. Interment with military honors were at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ruby Haskins Moore; a son, Gary Stephen and Linda Moore, Fayetteville a granddaughter, Jennifer and Captain Steven McMenamin, Shreveport, La.; and a sister, Lois Tate, Kansas.
