Brenda Matthews, 62, Fairburn, died Aug. 24, 2007. She was born May 18, 1946 in Fulton County. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Watson E. Mills officiating. Interment was at Sharpsburg Baptist Church cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Larry Matthews, Fairburn; sons, Mike Matthews, and Ken and Susie Matthews, all of Tyrone; daughters, Cortney Matthews, and Ashley Matthews, both of Fairburn; a brother, Doug Patton, Newnan; a sister, Doris Croker, Stone Mountain; and grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, and Nichols Matthews. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
