FCYSL kicks off fall season Saturday

The Fayette County Youth Soccer League will be kicking off its Fall 2007 Recreation season this Saturday, Sept. 8.

Some of the teams scheduled for the 9:00am kickoff are the U6 Boy Tigers going up against the U6 Boy Transformers along with the U6 Girl Bumblebees facing the U6 Girl Unicorns.
In the U8 division the U8 Boy Grasshoppers will be tangling with the U8 Boy Rockets, while on the girls side, the Strikers will face the Stars.

The Rovers and the Strikers of the U10 Boys are also set to kick off at 9 a.m.

In the U10 Girls division the Thunderbirds will go up against the Badgers.

The league has over 500 players for the Fall season which is scheduled to wrap up Nov 17. The goal of the recreation league is to help develop the players in sportsmanship, teamwork and respect, while learning a little bit about the game of soccer. The main goal of the league is for them to have fun.
