Our Lady of Mercy’s Bobcats fell to Creekview 43-7, but head coach Bryan Pinabell saw good effort and knows the game was closer than the scoreboard indicated. The Bobcats had two touchdowns called back due to penalties, including one from a 92 yard run from quarterback William Pearl on the second play of the game. Jarrell Bankhead ran four yards for Our Lady of Mercy’s lone touchdown, but Pinabell praised the play of Christian Willis, 10 tackles and 65 yards rushing, Will Simmons, nine tackles, and Patrick Silloway, seven tackles, in the game.

The Bobcats have a bye week this week and will continue to work on the fundamentals that will prepare them for the rest of the season.
