The town’s qualifying period did not end until 4:30 p.m. Friday, several hours after press time for the Saturday edition.

The lone candidate qualifying for mayor by press time was retiree Don Rehwaldt.

Those qualifying for Post 1 included former planning commission member Ken Matthews and technology services manager Tracy Young.

Post 2 candidates include manager and recently resigned planning commission member Jesse Nasianceno, consultant Eric Dial and computer securiety specialist Gordon Shenkle.

Anyone qualifying after press time will be posted later on The Citizen website.
