By: The Citizen
Visit the 100 Acre Wood where Winnie the Pooh and the rest of the gang will try to find Eeyore's tail in time for the festive Christmas Eve Party. Fayette Coweta Family Theatre, Inc. will put on three more presentations of their children's musical "A Winnie The Pooh Christmas Tail" on Wednesday, Dec. 21. This show was originally presented as a "Dessert Theatre" in Fayetteville on Dec. 3 and 4. Due to the positive response garnered from these first shows, the production will now travel to Peachtree City for three more "show only" performances. Children will enjoy the sixty-minute musical tale with Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Eeyore, Christopher Robin, Kanga, and Roo. The production features ten songs, colorful sets, famous characters and Santa Claus, too. All join together to make this a wonderful holiday event for families. The show is performed by the Junior Professional Ensemble, a professional cast of 10 performers, with a meet and greet and sing-along after each performance. Tickets are $6 and reservations are strongly suggested. Performances are scheduled for 2 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Doors will open thirty minutes prior to each show. Performances will be presented at CPW at 375 North Hwy. 74 between Crosstown Road and the Peachtree City Police Station and next door to Gym City. Pre-sale tickets are available at the Peachtree City Library and via the web at www.fcft.net/WinniePooh. Reservations can also be made by phone at 770-251-7611. This is your last chance to see this family Christmas production. login to post comments |
