Major Brady Burch, United States Army retired, 64, Sharpsburg, died Aug. 14, 2007. He was born Sept. 3, 1942 in Richland County, S. C. He was a veteran of Vietnam where he served in the United States Army as a helicopter pilot. After retiring from the Army he worked with the Federal Aviation Administration. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Father David Epps and the Rev. Father Paul Massey officiating. Interment was at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Ga. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Suzanne Burch, Sharpsburg; a daughter, Amanda Chavis, Sharpsburg; a grandson, Gabriel Chavis, Sharpsburg; and a sister, Beverly Lauderdale, Alvin, Texas. Memorial donations may be made to Southwest Christian Hospice, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
