Connie Butler Stringer Forte, 86, Fairburn, died Aug. 22, 2007. She was born Sept. 15, 1920 in Grady County. She was preceded in death by her husband Crawford "Sug" Forte. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Larry Stegall officiating. Interment was at Sherwood Memorial Park, Jonesboro. Survivors include a son, Crawford "Buddy" Forte, College Park; daughters, Martha McCoy, Chico, Calif., and Barbara Ivy, Louise Skinner, and Carol Lee Forte, all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Kenneth Ivy, Bryan Forte, Jason Forte, David Skinner, James Skinner, Christi Lenz, Cheryl Kelly, Alan McCoy, and Matthew McCoy; and nine great-grandchildren.
