Mother Nature wreaked havoc on the Whitewater Lady Wildcats and Sandy Creek Lady Patriots on Wednesday in Tyrone.

With the teams tied at 2 to start the sixth inning, lightning struck for the second time, forcing the umpires to call the game.

The game started 30 minutes late due to lightning.

Whitewater pounced on Creek early, scoring a run each on Ashley Schwab's triple to left field and Jamie Saunders' sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning.

Creek tied the game in the bottom half of the inning on Kayla Awbrey's RBI triple to right field and Andrea Dalton's two-out RBI double that slammed off the third base bag.
