What do you love most about football?: “I like the game because it challenges a young man to get out of his comfort zone and do something difficult for someone other than himself. Some may play for selfish reasons, but ultimately they begin to realize that it’s not about them, and they will not succeed without the efforts of others. This game forces a young man to get up each day and look at himself in the context of making a commitment. Following through with a commitment to your team teaches a valuable life lesson. Football is a tough game and is not what I call a “fun” game. It’s a game of passion that attracts a young man who is yearning to be a part of something tough and meaningful.”
