Playing career: In high school played TE/DE, was All-State and All-Region, inducted into the National Football Hall of Fame Scholar/Athlete…attended Austin Peay St. University on full football scholarship (TE)…later transferred and played baseball at Union University.

Highlight of your current coaching job: “My highlight at Landmark is talking to my players after they graduate and seeing them making good choices, serving others, and becoming Godly leaders.”

Favorite college football team: UGA

Favorite pro football team: “Between church and breaking down game film on Sunday afternoons, I have no time for pro football (I do always keep up with the Falcons, though).”

Favorite pro football player: Keith Brooking

Favorite football movie: Remember the Titans (my players claim that I show it at least two times every year)

What do you love most about the game: “I don’t love the game as much as I love seeing young men become everything that God created them to be…and working side by side with a staff that I love like my brothers.”
