Open to the community, faculty, staff and students, the Gordon College Community Band is a diverse mix of musical talents that needs a few more members.

“While we may have many different levels of ability, we all share a love of band music,” said band director Neil Boumpani, assistant professor of music. “Our only requirement is prior experience in a band. No audition is required to become a member.”

The band will rehearse every Monday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in room 116 of the Fine Arts building. Performances are scheduled for Oct. 25 and Nov. 29.

“We welcome any instrument but have a special need for clarinets, French horns and low brass performers,” said Boumpani.
