Iris Elaine Beard Wilmont, 67, Fayetteville, died Aug. 18,2007, after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Commerce, Jackson County, daughter of Charles and Dovena V. Beard. She was a Fayetteville artist and business woman of many years. She was a member of Vineyard community Church, Senoia. A memorial service was held at Vineyard Community Church. Survivors include her husband, Henry Wilmont; a brother, Larry H. and Linda Beard, Atlanta; sons, Chris Baird, Oxley, Ala., and Dan Wilmont, Jackson; a stepson, Curtin Wilmont, Savannah; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Cremation Society of Georgia was in charge.
