Tom Jacobs, formerly with the Ferndale Free Methodist Church in Ferndale, Mich., will assume duties as pastor of student ministries at Fayette Community Church in Fayetteville beginning Sept. 9.

Jacobs served as youth pastor in Ferndale for seven years and, prior to that, worked with youth at the same church for two years.

Jacobs and his wife, Jennifer, have three children, Aurora, Isaiah, and Elijah.

Ministries for youth at Fayette Community include JAM children’s ministries each Sunday at 10 a.m. and Breakaway Youth Ministries on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.

The church is behind Mrs. Winner’s and LaHacienda Restaurant on Ga. Hwy. 85 in Fayetteville.
