Mr. and Mrs. John Milford Fields of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Heatwole, to Darren Curtis Thiessen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis C. Thiessen of Aberdeen, Saskatchewan, Canada. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John M. Fields Sr. of Griffin and the late George F. Heatwole of Peachtree City, formerly of Vass, N.C. She is a 1997 graduate of McIntosh High School in Peachtree City and a graduate of Brenau University, where she received a bachelor of fine arts in interior design. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. She is employed by Ainsworth-Noah at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center. The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Florine Klassen and the late John A. Klassen of Rosetown, Saskatchewan, and Mrs. Ann Thiessen and the late Isaac C.J. Thiessen of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He is a 1999 graduate of Aberdeen Composite High School in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan, and a 2002 graduate of Saskatchewan Institute of Science and Technology where he received an electronics systems engineering degree. He is employed by International Road Dynamics Inc. of Canada as a regional manager for the southeast United States. The wedding will be Sept. 29, 2007, in the garden at Flat Creek Club in Peachtree City, with a reception to follow. After a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Atlanta. login to post comments |
