Our football coverage will be greatly expanded this year, but we still can’t be everywhere at once, that’s why we’re urging people to call in scores, e-mail them to sports@thecitizen.com or post them on the website when they get home from a game.

This will be very important to have scores and highlights mentioned on The Citizen Sports Blitz, our weekly sports podcast, which launches Saturday, Sept. 1. The more information you can give us, the more your favorite schools and players will be discussed.

Plus, you’ll get a shout-out on the podcast as well.
