Donald Edward Tolbert, 70, Newnan, died Aug. 19, 2007. He was a native of Newnan. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis E. Tolbert, and a brother, Dennis Tolbert. He was graduate of Newnan High School, and was a dedicated member of Newnan First United Methodist Church and had owned and operated the Tolbert Insurance Agency. He had been active in the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce. Services were at the Newnan First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Med Roach and the Rev. Gary Parrish officiating. Interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Newnan, by the side of his first wife, Janie Sue Tolbert. Survivors include his mother, Eva Mae Wilson Tolbert, Newnan; his wife, Jennifer Harrod Tolbert, Newnan; a daughter, Jennifer Tolbert and Jim Oliver, Peachtree City; their children, James Thomas Oliver III and Donald Tolbert Oliver, both of Peachtree City; other survivors include Kristin and Matt Rossey, Shelley and Kyle Brooks; their children, Corey Brooks, and Ryan Brooks; and a brother, David Tolbert, Newnan. Memorial donations may be made to the Newnan First United Methodist Church.
