The 10th annual “Up The Creek” softball tournament was stopped short because of inclement weather, but not before a number of local teams showed their mettle.

Northgate, Starr’s Mill and McIntosh all made it to the first-place medal round, while Sandy Creek and Whitewater made it to the second-place medal round. Fayette County joined Pike County and Newnan in the fifth-place medal round.
