Rudolph John Blomseth, 87, Fayetteville, died Aug. 14,2007. He was born Oct. 18, 1919 in Norway. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Goudie Blomseth, and a son-in-law, Ray L. Denman. He served in World War II in the 8th Air Force 94 GB 333 SQDN, and was a prisoner of war for 14 months. He was awarded two Purple Hearts. He was a member of the Riverdale Masonic Lodge #709 and the Sons of Norway. No service is planned at this time. Survivors include a son, Gary Blomseth, Miami, Fla.; daughters, Darlene Denman, Woodstock, Ill, and Lynn and Chuck Trinoskey, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Robyn Zasada, Rex Westman, Russell Westman, Ray Scott Westman, Kiersten Scheule, Gavin Trinoskey, Raven Bradford, Kirk Townsend, Sara Knox, Kaegan Lherisson, Sten Blomseth; and six great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Riverdale Masonic Lodge #709, 6589 Hwy. 85, Riverdale, GA 30274. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
