Christmas shoppers who want to find amazing deals, up to 75 percent off retail, and contribute to a good cause at the same time need to visit 1200 Commerce Drive starting at 9 a.m. Dec. 9.

It is there that Young Life of Fayette County will hold a huge showroom liquidation sale of merchandise ranging from home and garden décor to the most unique gifts anywhere.

The sale came about after the Fayette County chapter of Young Life received an unexpected donation from Brad Price, of the Albert E. Price retail businesses that had three showrooms at the Atlanta Merchandise Mart. At the end of this year’s show, he donated all remaining stock to Young Life of Fayette County. Young Life is a nationwide non-profit organization committed to making a positive impact on lives of children and youth.

"This was completely unexpected, but what a blessing," said Andy Davenport, Young Life area director. "At a time when resources are limited for nonprofits due to the multiple natural disasters our nation has experienced recently, this gift is what we needed to continue investing in the youth and community of Fayette County."

The donation comprised of literally thousands of unique items from Christmas gifts to multi-cultural home décor items or beach and lake house furnishings, and much more, all at amazingly low prices.

"If people haven’t started their Christmas shopping, or you need to find that one-of-a-kind gift for someone who has everything, this is the place to do it," said Pam Howland, a Young Life volunteer helping to coordinate the sale. “We are so grateful to Jimmy Pace of Group VI for donation of this showroom space for the sale.”

The sale will be Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Dec. 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Dec. 16th from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Dec. 17th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free door prizes will be awarded every hour.

Young Life of Fayette County has reached out to Fayette County youth since the early ‘90s. Adult staff and volunteers lead clubs in local middle and high schools aimed at investing time and talent into the lives of hundreds of students, building relationships and providing positive and fun activities.
