Kidz Fest planned for SaturdayWed, 08/22/2007 - 9:26am

Peachtree City's 18th annual Kidz Fest will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The family event is free and open to the public. Parking, admission, games and rides are all free. This year’s free rides include: The Great Rock Wall, The Giant Slide, The Iron Man Obstacle Course, Starwalk Moon Walk and back by popular demand "The Money Machine!" Parents who fill out a free survey will earn their children a chance to win free prizes in the money machine. Pony rides will also be available for a nominal fee. Other entertainment will be provided by a local DJ who will play Top 40 hits as well as other popular music. The “Clowns with New Hope” will have live shows at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. The clowns will also offer free face painting and free balloon twisting. For a nominal fee, food vendors will be on hand, including X-Playground, Brusters Ice Cream, Girl Scouts troops and The Japanese American Friendship Society. Kidz Fest 2007 will be held at Shakerag Knoll, 191 McIntosh Trail in Peachtree City, Ga.
