PTC workers left job mess unfinished

I want to draw attention to your readers of city work that was left undone over the weekend of Aug. 3 at the new storm control system in Peachtree City. The workers dug a hole and left clay and water on the street and sidewalk for the weekend.

I am a senior citizen and was out walking my dog in the area when I suddenly began to slide. I slid at least six feet before I was able to get hold of the grass and stop sliding. I was praying the whole time I was sliding that God would hold me up.

The point is that if the city workers had completed their task, or at least roped off the dangerous area, this would not have happened.

I immediately called the PTC police and reported the danger. I want to express my gratitude to the PTC police for their prompt attention to this matter.

They immediately had the job site roped off so no one else would experience what I did. I hope I have saved someone else from having the same thing happen to them that happened to me. Thank you again, PTC police.
