By: The Citizen
Kellie Beal has been chosen by Landmark Christian School as their 2005/2006 representative to the 47th annual Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Conference (HOBY). Started in 1958 by actor Hugh O'Brien, the HOBY program nationally reaches out to every accredited public and private high school in the nation to provide an opportunity for high school sophomores to recognize their potential talents and apply them in becoming effective, ethical leaders of the future. There are approximately 70 Leadership Seminars held each spring in all 50 states. Currently, some 7,500 sophomores attend these Leadership Seminars annually. This year’s conference for Georgia sophomores will be held in the spring on the campus of Oglethorpe University. login to post comments |
