The Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty organization’s offices will continue accepting donations for the annual U. S. Marine Corps Reserve “Toys for Tots” campaign through Monday, Dec. 19.

This year’s campaign is the 58th annual “Toys for Tots” drive, and this marks the 24nd year that Coldwell Banker Bullard has taken part in the effort.

The real estate organization’s offices are serving only as collection points. Coldwell Banker Bullard does not distribute the toys, as this is the role of local churches, local Department of Family and Children Services offices, or the Marines.

Area residents wanting to support the effort can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at a Coldwell Banker Bullard office, Coldwell Banker American Land Mart, or one of the other collection points, and the Marines will take care of the rest, distributing the toys to needy children through local charitable organizations. The Web address for the campaign in the Atlanta area is www.atlantatoysfortots.com.

For those preferring to contribute money to the campaign, a check made out to “Marine Toys for Tots Foundation” will be accepted.

Coldwell Banker Bullard offices are located at 238 Stockbridge Rd., Jonesboro; 4295 Jodeco Rd., McDonough; 658 West Third Street, Jackson; 1968-A Hwy. 54 West, Fayetteville (just outside the eastern city limits of Peachtree City); on 1605 East Hwy. 34, Newnan; and 122-A South 13th St. in Griffin. There are two collections points in Conyers, the Coldwell Banker Bullard office at 1070 Iris Dr. SW and the office of an affiliated company, Coldwell Banker American Land Mart, at 889 Commerce Dr. (Ste. A).

The “Toys for Tots” campaign has grown from a small project in the Los Angeles area to a nationwide effort. The campaign has the support of a wide array of other organizations, groups, committees, local businesses, and national corporations.
