JoAnn T. Sigman, 76, Oxford, Ga., died Aug. 18, 2007. She was born Jan. 27, 1932 in Fayette County, daughter of Bernon and Maggie McLucas Tarpley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Sigman. She had worked in the health care industry as a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of Inman United Methodist Church. Services were at the Harwell-Wheeler Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Roger Bailey officiating. Interment was at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Eddie and Brenda Kelley, Tyrone; stepsons Alton and Judy Sigman, Conyers, and Alan Sigman; grandchildren, Brandi Kelley, Melissa Sigman, and Heather Sigman; and great-grandchildren, Cody Kelley and Shaylee Burtclazzo. Harwell-Wheeler Funeral Home, Covington, was in charge.
