Suzette Witty, above left, was recently recognized during a Sunday morning service at Christ the King Church in Sharpsburg. Witty received her associate of science in nursing degree from Gordon College in Barnesville this summer and successfully completed the exams to become a registered nurse. Witty and her husband, Sam, reside in Newnan with their son, Jake. Father David Epps, pastor of Christ the King, presented the new R.N. with a leather-bound copy of The 1978 Book of Common Prayer.
