By: The Citizen
A new 13-week series of DivorceCare for adults and DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) begins Wednesday, Aug. 22 at Peachtree City United Methodist Church. The programs are designed to help adults and children with the healing process and challenges that occur during divorce transition. DivorceCare for adults offers insight into the many issues that divorce brings, using video tapes and group discussion. DC4K, for age 5-12, helps children sort through their anxiety and bond with others going through similar experiences. Classes run simultaneously from 6:30 – 8 p.m., with adults in room 306 and children in room 104 at the PTCUMC main campus, 225 Robinson Rd. To register, contact the PTCUMC office, 770-487-6499. See the church website at www.ptcumc.org for additional information. login to post comments |
