Bethlehem Baptist’s revival starts tonight
Bethlehem Baptist Church will host a revival Wednesday, Aug. 22 through Friday, Aug. 24, at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The guest revivalist is the Rev. Michael W. Baldwin, pastor of Christians For Change Baptist in Riverdale. Bethlehem Baptist Church is in Peachtree City at 475 Dividend Drive, near the entrance to Falcon Field. Heritage Christian to offer GriefShare
Heritage Christian Church will offer Grief Share, a grief recovery support group that features resources to assist and encourage people grieving the death of a friend or family member. Grace church plans video Bible study
Grace Evangelical Church will host the first series of the Bible study, “The Amazing Collection: The Bible, Book by Book,” beginning Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The first session continues for 11 weeks. The video series presents a sequential overview teaching of each book of the Bible, with personal stories and inspirational music and includes a workbook. Merrill Chapel plans upcoming special events
Merrill Chapel United Methodist Church (UMC) will hold its Family and Friends Day Reunion Celebration Sunday, Aug. 26, at 3 p.m., with dinner preceding the celebration following the regular morning service. The Rev. Edward Best of St. Mark UMC Church in Fairburn will deliver the message. Merrill Chapel’s revival is Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 27-29, at 7:30 p.m. each night. The revival preacher will be the Rev. Robert Melson, pastor at Dodd Sterling UMC in Atlanta. Southside Baptist’s Discovery Club starts Aug. 25
Southside Baptist Church will host kickoff activities for its Discovery Bible Club, for children ages 4-16, Saturday, Aug. 25, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Activities will include moonwalks, a pirate ship with slide and rock wall, waterslide and hayride.
