Karen Lyons Storey, 83, Fayetteville, died Dec. 6, 2005. She was born May 22, 1922 in Fayette County. She was the daughter of George Patrick and Bessie Brown Lyons. She was a 50-year member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church. Services were at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church Overton Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Stringham and the Rev. Frank Ellis officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Storey, Fayetteville; sisters, Christine Peeples, Woolsey, and Jackie and Bill Thomason, Monticello.; and a niece, Judy and Bernie Fisher, Monticello. Memorial donations may be made to the Fayetteville First Baptist Homebound Ministry. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
