Gary Bryant Butler Sr., 66, Newnan, formerly of Savannah, died Aug. 6, 2007. He was a retired meteorologist at the National Weather Service. Memorial services were held Aug. 11 at First Presbyterian Church, Fayetteville, N. C., and Aug. 26, at the Harvest Baptist Church, Newnan. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Wemyss Butler, Newnan; a son, Bryant and Amy Butler, Alexandria, Va.; and a sister, Helen Baker, Marcellus, N. Y.
