Frances T. Rogers, 83, Fayetteville, died Aug. 6, 2007. She was born July 24, 1924 in Brooks County, Ga. She worked in the accounting department of Delta Air Lines and then became head teller at the Farmers and Merchants Bank, Fayetteville. She was a member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church where she taught both adult and children's Sunday School. Services were at the Overton Chapel of Fayetteville First Baptist with the Rev. Dennis Watson officiating. Interment was at Westminster Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Arthur "Art" Rogers Sr., Fayetteville; sons, Art and Cheryl Rogers Jr., Roswell, and Cliff Rogers and fiancée, Wendy Mattison, Smyrna; daughters, Patricia and Joe Almand, Covington, and Julie and Andy Cash, Brooks; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Katie, Laura, Leslie, Charlie, and Magie. Memorial donations may be made to the Fayetteville First Baptist Church Bus Ministry or Homebound Ministry. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
