The youth of St. Andrew’s in the Pines Episcopal Church went to Bay St. Louis, Miss. July 17-22 as part of the Provincial Youth Event (PYE) mission trip for high school youth. Christ Episcopal Church in Bay St. Louis was destroyed by hurricane Katrina and now functions as the Mission on the Bay. They house, feed and coordinate all volunteers who have come to assist residents in rebuilding their homes. Participants stated that the devastation is still evident throughout the area after two years.
