Flat Creek Baptist announces fall classes

Flat Creek Baptist Church will offer a variety of classes on Wednesdays and Sundays beginning Wednesday, Aug. 22 and Sunday, Aug. 26.

Wednesday classes will include:

• “Growing A Church - Through The Book Of Acts,” taught by Pastor Jerry Cross. The class is for all ages and will be held in the sanctuary.

• “Freedom From Busyness: Biblical Help For Overworked People,” by Michael Zigarelli, a four-week course led by Johnny Huddleston. Cost: $5 for the book.

• “Men Are Like Waffles; Women Are Like Spaghetti,” by Bill and Pam Ferrell, a seven-week study led by Mark and Vickie Ward. Cost: $7 for the book.

• “Deeper,” a 10-week course led by David Rathbun; a discussion of scripture’s answer to perplexing questions. Free.

• “A Woman’s Heart: God’s Dwelling Place,” by Beth Moore, an updated 12-week series led by Rhonda Jones or Sunday study led by Sharon Reames. Cost: $8 for the book.

Sunday classes beginning Aug. 26 will include :

• “The Quest For Authentic Manhood,” by Robert Lewis, a 24-week course led by Steve Sherrill. Cost: $5 for the book.

• “This Is My Story: Creating A Scrapbook Legacy Of Faith,” by Lisa Whelchel, a six-week course led by Joy Hay. Cost: $25 for the book and all supplies.

• “Along The Virtuous Way,” by Gary and AnneMarie Ezzo, a class that teaches how to reach the heart of children with virtues and values, led by Rick and Jan Davenport. Cost: $8 for the book.
