Council interviews take place Monday

Four people so far have filed applications to be appointed to the unexpired term on the Peachtree City Council left vacant by the resignation of Judi-ann Rutherford last month.

Council will select one qualified citizen to fill the seat, which expires on Dec. 31.

The candidates who have applied so far are William. A. Holland of Aster Ridge Trail, a retired architect; Chris T. Larson of Perthshire Drive, a television producer; Ray Sturbaum of Plantain Terrace, an IT vendor management specialist with Panasonic and Michael Moore of Eden's Edge, a revenue management specialist for the Coca-Cola Company.

Candidates have until this afternoon to file their application, and they will be interviewed by council at a public meeting Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. on the bottom floor of the Peachtree City Library.
