Amos McCreary at Crying Towel Luncheon

Whitewater head football coach Amos McCreary won his second Crying Towel award at the Peachtree City Rotary Club's meeting today. All of the football coaches for Fayette County's five public high schools were in attendance. The goal of the Crying Towel Luncheon is for the coach to give his sob story on why his team would have the toughest road this year.

It was a close decision between McIntosh and Whitewater but McCreary pulled it out with a humorous speech, mentioning that 47 players from last year's team have graduated and that much of this year's team isn't old enough to grow facial hair.
