Clayton International, Inc. of Peachtree City has made a commitment to the American Cancer Society’s 2007 Cattle Barons’ Ball in the form of a $3,000 cash sponsorship.

“I lost my father to cancer, and he was an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society,” said Michael Stille, Clayton president. “As a businessman in the community, I wanted to show my support as well.”

Located in Peachtree City’s industrial sector on Dividend Drive, Clayton International overhauls helicopters and manufactures spare parts for the U.S. Navy and for law enforcement agencies. For more information on the company, visit www.claytonintl.com.

The 2007 Cattle Barons’ Ball is continuing to round up corporate sponsors for the event, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3. Sponsorships range from $500, which includes two tickets and program recognition, up to $20,000 for eight tickets, a full-page message in the program, company name and logo on the banner along with recognition in promotional material.

Individual tickets, which cost $125 per person, are also available for purchase now at the American Cancer Society’s office, 301 Kelly Drive, Peachtree City, Ga..

The fifth annual Western-style ball, put on by local volunteers, expects to raise more than $200,000 for the American Cancer Society. The ball’s 2007 theme, “Reel Cowboys with a Real Cause,” draws inspiration from the event’s venue this year, RiverWood Studios, a movie production studio in Senoia.

As always, Barons’ Ball guests will be treated to a lively evening of great food provided by Atlanta’s LowCountry Barbecue and great music provided by local group Crystal and the Cruizers. The ball also includes a host of Vegas-style games, live and silent auctions and much more.

In the past four years, the Barons’ Ball has raised more than $650,000 for the American Cancer Society. The proceeds from the event benefit local programs and services of the American Cancer Society that are offered free to the community along with funding research, legislative efforts and education.
