Diane Vereen will be the guest speaker for the “Ultimate Gift Women’s Event,” scheduled for 6:45 - 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13 at First Baptist Church, 208 Willowbend Rd. in Peachtree City. The cost is $5 and dessert will be served.

Vereen has been involved with Precept Ministries since 1975 when the first Precept course was written. She began to conduct leadership training workshops nationwide in 1985 and has been on staff since 1991.

As ambassadors-at-large, she and her husband, Bob, are responsible for 18 international offices, shepherding and mentoring national directors, coordinators and other key leadership.

They are responsible for the coordination and development of new areas of ministry in Africa, the Caribbean, Western Europe, the Middle East, the Pacific Rim and South East Asia. They travel the globe teaching the inductive method of Bible study, training potential leaders to disciple others while speaking at various conference events.

The Vereens have coauthored bible studies with Kay Arthur.
