Christ’s Church at Whitewater’s Fine Arts Ministry, called “316,” will present “Here is Our King,” Part 1, Sunday, Dec. 18 during both worship services at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Childcare and children’s programming will be provided during both hours.

“The name ‘316’ is taken from the book of Colossians which tells us that in all we do, we are to give thanks to God with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs,” said associate/worship minister, Michael Plank. Plank says since worship reflects many forms of expression, the Christmas presentation will feature Selah (the church’s adult choir), the orchestra, praise band, drama and dance, in a celebration of Christ’s birth.

Participants in the program are mostly from the congregation of Christ’s Church but also include persons from Atlanta Christian College and local school band and orchestra students.

“Here is our King,” Part 2, will be presented during Easter and will focus on Christ’s resurrection.

Christ’s Church at Whitewater is on Ga. Hwy. 85 South in Fayetteville across from Whitewater Middle School. For more information, contact the church office, 770-461-1487.
