There is a change coming to unincorporated south Fulton County. It is one that affects juveniles up to age 17.

Fulton County Commission has imposed a curfew for juveniles and began Friday posting signs outlining the new measure. In a move that will be strictly enforced, the juvenile curfew ordinance will be effective Sundays through Thursdays from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day. Restricted hours for Fridays and Saturdays run from 12:01 a.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.

Signs addressing the curfew began going up Friday. They will be posted under Neighborhood Watch signs and in other prominent locations throughout unincorporated south Fulton.

Commissioners said the county’s prohibited noise ordinance will also be strictly enforced.
