Star studded music festival coming to South Fulton
Plans to bring a large venue music festival to south Fulton County were announced Wednesday. The Echo Project, billed as an environmentally-friendly music and arts festival, will be held along the banks of the Chattahoochee River Oct. 12-14.

An initial sampling of the festival venue includes artists such as the Killers, Phil Lesh & Friends, the Roots, Moe, Cypress Hill, Brazilian Girls, Perpetual Groove, the Avett Brothers, Lyrics Born, RJD2, The Disco Biscuits, Umphrey’s McGee, Perpetual Groove, Spam Allstars, Greenskeepers, Toubab Krewe, the Afromotive, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Stephen Marley, Cat Power & Dirty Delta Blues and others.

Rain or shine, the venue is billed as three days of entertainment, community building and environmental awareness spread across three stages, using alternative energy sources and innovative programs for power creation and consumption.
